Welcome to HuskyHowl. By downloading, installing, or using the HuskyHowl mobile application ("App") or visiting the HuskyHowl website at huskyhowl.app ("Website"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App or Website.
HuskyHowl is an independent, fan-built application that aggregates publicly available athletics information relating to Northeastern University teams. HuskyHowl is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or officially connected to Northeastern University, its athletics department, ESPN, Hockey East, or any other league, conference, media company, or data provider.
You must be at least 13 years old to use HuskyHowl. If you are under 18, you represent that you have permission from a parent or legal guardian to use the App and Website.
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App and Website for personal, non-commercial use. You agree not to:
HuskyHowl aggregates, reformats, and displays sports content from third-party and official sources including ESPN, Northeastern Athletics / Sidearm, and Hockey East.
HuskyHowl depends on third-party data sources and service providers to function. These include, without limitation:
Your use of third-party content, sites, and services is subject to those third parties' own terms, policies, and availability. HuskyHowl is not responsible for third-party content, outages, policy changes, or provider decisions.
The HuskyHowl App, Website, original design, and original code are owned by HuskyHowl or its licensors. Team names, logos, league marks, article content, photos, and other third-party materials referenced in the App or Website belong to their respective owners and are used for identification, commentary, and informational display only.
HuskyHowl displays advertisements through Google Mobile Ads / AdMob to support free use of the App. By using the App, you acknowledge that:
HuskyHowl may send optional notifications or Live Activity updates for game reminders, game start, live score changes, and final scores. You can manage notification settings within the App or through iOS Settings. Delivery timing depends on Apple, your device, network conditions, and upstream sports data availability, so notifications may be delayed, missed, duplicated, or unavailable.
THE APP AND WEBSITE ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP, WEBSITE, DATA, OR NOTIFICATIONS WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ACCURATE, COMPLETE, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, HUSKYHOWL AND ITS DEVELOPER(S) WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, GOODWILL, OR USE, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE APP OR WEBSITE.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE APP OR WEBSITE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US, IF ANY, IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AROSE, OR (B) FIFTY U.S. DOLLARS (US $50).
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless HuskyHowl and its developer(s) from and against claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising out of or related to your misuse of the App or Website, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the Effective Date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the App or Website after revised Terms are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the App or Website at any time, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms or if operation of the service changes or ends.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of HuskyHowl will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Boston, Massachusetts, except where applicable law provides otherwise.
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect to the fullest extent permitted by law.
